Cosmetic Crowns are caps which fit around the whole circumference of a tooth.

They are used if a tooth has  been weakened by decay, wear from acid or grinding or has had its strength compromised by several fillings. There are a range of materials available for crowns such as Zirconia or Emax which can simultaneously protect the tooth from further damage and improve the aesthetics.
